They filmed a half hour version with some very good actors who were in ‘Phoenix Nights’, ‘The Office’ ‘Cutting It’, ‘One Foot In The Grave’, and  ‘Croupier’ (though I was more impressed by the fact he was in ‘Press Gang’)

www.londonscriptconsultancy.com -A much-needed one stop shop for feedback, articles on genre, the high concept etc and story structure from Aristotle to Tarantino. They also run weekly and weekend courses and give very honest feedback;  telling you what you need to hear, rather than what you’d like to hear.

www.wordplayer.com - Lots of articles from the writers of ‘Shrek’, ‘Alladin’ and ‘The Mask Of Zorro’. How they found the time to put this together is beyond me, but I’m glad they did.

www.scriptsales.com -All the big scripts that have been option in Hollywood. Groan! -At the number of re-makes, ‘re-imaginings’ and computer game spin offs. Weep! –when you discover that someone else has already optioned a script about a time traveling space monkey.

www.simplyscripts.com -there are lots of scripts available online, but this a pretty good place to start- film, tv radio- even a few treatments (ET 2!!!?)

www.freaksandgeeks.com website of the finest television show ever made and then swiftly cancelled. Laugh at Neil Schweiber’s love letters, wince at Sam’s ‘Parisian Nightsuit’ and find out from Bill why ‘Dallas’ rules. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you owe it to yourself to find out-this was a wonderful series; funny true and touching without ever being schmaltzy).
