www.mbalit.co.uk -My Agent
The Best links I’ve found for screenwriters: (though there are many more)
www.tapsnet.org -the organization which helped me develop my television comedy drama script, ‘Faintheart’. They filmed a half hour version with some very good actors who were in ‘Phoenix Nights’, ‘The Office’ ‘Cutting It’, ‘One Foot In The Grave’, and ‘Croupier’ (though I was more impressed by the fact he was in ‘Press Gang’)
www.londonscriptconsultancy.com -A much-needed one stop shop for feedback, articles on genre, the high concept etc and story structure from Aristotle to Tarantino. They also run weekly and weekend courses and give very honest feedback; telling you what you need to hear, rather than what you’d like to hear.
www.wordplayer.com - Lots of articles from the writers of ‘Shrek’, ‘Alladin’ and ‘The Mask Of Zorro’. How they found the time to put this together is beyond me, but I’m glad they did.
www.imdb.com -Obvious but essential. Information on everyone from the greats to me.
www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom -lots of good advice on how where and when to submit work.
www.scriptsales.com -All the big scripts that have been option in Hollywood. Groan! -At the number of re-makes, ‘re-imaginings’ and computer game spin offs. Weep! –when you discover that someone else has already optioned a script about a time traveling space monkey.
www.simplyscripts.com -there are lots of scripts available online, but this a pretty good place to start- film, tv radio- even a few treatments (ET 2!!!?)
www.moviehole.net -If the latest on Blockbusters (especially sci-fi, fantasy and horror) interest you.

http://www.fruitsofthewomb.com -theatre company producing challenging and entertaining work.
www.theonion.com -still great after all these years, though their crowning achievment is still ‘Our Dumb Century’. A life raft of sanity in the madness of American politics.
www.thisamericanlife.org -best radio show in the world, with hilarious contributions from writers like David Sedaris and Sarah ‘Violet in The Incredibles’ Vowell along with some wonderful true stories. Check the archives for a disastrous am-dram production of Peter Pan and the all America girl who became pen pals with General Noriega
www.freaksandgeeks.com website of the finest television show ever made and then swiftly cancelled. Laugh at Neil Schweiber’s love letters, wince at Sam’s ‘Parisian Nightsuit’ and find out from Bill why ‘Dallas’ rules. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you owe it to yourself to find out-this was a wonderful series; funny true and touching without ever being schmaltzy).
http://www.robincooper.co.uk the great man of letters, the Henry Root of the 21st Century,- and the brainchild behind the mighty ‘Look Around You’.
www.meandbobby.com -glorious acoustic music from everyone’s favourite Manx/Norwegian fronted combo. Get into them now so you can sound cool in years to come…
